9/27/2017 1 Comment Photographic history and genresI don't think that photography will become a lot art. I think that even though photography has gotten easier, it has also improved a lot. Like anything else, as things get easier, more people are willing to do it. So, I think that photography will actually gain popularity because it is a lot more readily available. It is still relevant because people will always want a way to capture moments so that they can remember them. I think my favorite photograph is from Peru. It is a picture of me standing in front of Machu Picchu with my arms stretched out. I also edited in on VSCO. I think it is the most memorable to me because it brings me back to that day when I was visiting Machu Picchu and in Peru and I made a lot of memories in Peru. 9/15/2017 6 Comments Elements and Principles of designThe elements and principles of design rely on each other. The principles of design are what you could work with to take the photo and the elements are what we use to arrange the principles. The elements are line, shape, form, color, value, texture, and space. The principles are rhythm, movement, pattern, balance, emphasis, proportion, and contrast. It is really difficult to show only one elements and one principle in one photo because they are all important factors in taking photos.
9/7/2017 6 Comments My favorite thingsI chose the beach and sunsets as my favorite things because I really enjoy going to the beach and watching the sunrise so they are some of my favorite things. The first couple pictures were taken at Perkins Cove, ME and the sunrise photos are from Hilton Head Island, SC. Both of these locations are some of my favorite places as well. To take these photos I used my iPhone. I really didn't take much consideration into taking these photos, but I think one of the main things I kept in mind were the lighting because in most of these photos it was kind of dark, either from it being cloudy or before the sunrise. I uploaded my image by emailing it to myself and then downloading it to my desktop and uploading it from there. |
